CarbonCuts has appointed Morten Rosenløv Jensen as its new Managing Director. Together with a dedicated team of professionals and specialists, his main task will be to guide the company into a new phase.
CarbonCuts was founded on the idea of contributing to the green transition by storing CO2 in the Danish underground. In just three years, CarbonCuts has grown from a small startup to one of Denmark’s leading CCS companies, with 25 employees and an extensive exploration program in Project Ruby on Lolland.
With his insight and experience, Morten Rosenløv Jensen, together with CarbonCuts’ dedicated team, will ensure the continued development of Project Ruby and realize the company’s vision for the future. This includes ongoing development of concepts for safe, responsible, and profitable underground CO2 storage.
Morten Rosenløv Jensen brings extensive management experience from INEOS, Ørsted, and most recently Green Hydrogen Systems. He holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from DTU, specializing in refining, engineering, and gas processing from IFP School in France.
Morten Rosenløv Jensen will take over the director role in mid-November 2025, succeeding board member Maj Wendorff, who has served as interim director since July 1ththis year, when CarbonCuts’ founder Ken Wesnæs chose to step down as director.
Maj Wendorff will assist Morten Rosenløv Jensen for the remainder of 2025 to ensure a smooth transition and will continue as a board member. With Morten Rosenløv Jensen as Mana, CarbonCuts looks forward to continuing its positive development and collaboration with all stakeholders.
